Spiced Citrus Cider
Easy to double for a crowd, with a wonderful fragrance!
- 8 cups apple cider (half-gallon)
- 1 Sunkist orange, cut in half-cartwheel slices
- 1 Sunkist lemon, cut in cartwheel slices
- 2 whole cinnamon sticks
- 4 whole cardamom seeds
- 6 whole cloves
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg, freshly grated
- 2 Tbs. brown sugar
Makes 10 to 12 servings.
Combine all ingredients in large saucepan or small stockpot. Heat to a simmer, keep warm for up to one hour. Ladle into mugs, with one piece of citrus and 1 whole spice per cup.
