Sunkist fruit in a jar gets great reviews

Las Vegas, NV (April 2009) – Sunkist Premium Sweet, the line of refrigerated cut fruit that launched two years ago by Sunkist Growers and Old World Enterprise Group, LLC is focused on freshness and is packed in 100% juice, so it’s naturally healthy and delicious.
The refrigerated produce item was unveiled at the United Fresh show in 2007. “We were extremely pleased with the favorable response,” said Mark Madden, Managing Director of Sunkist Global Licensing. “Everyone who tasted it said they enjoyed the great taste. I loved watching peoples’ eyes as they got big with a positive, happy response.”
Sunkist Premium Sweet is manufactured by the ‘Better for You’ Food Division of World Enterprise Group under license from Sunkist. It is sold exclusively in chilled cases in the produce section of grocery, convenience and club stores.

Sunkist Premium Sweet offers consumers a better-for-you product, with more natural taste. “Our products are an excellent source of Vitamin C and antioxidants,” said Richard Sanderson, President of Old World Enterprise Group. “And the convenient 8-ounce cups and 24-ounce jars make it easy for consumers to feel good about eating healthy.”
The line of products is available in Canada and the United States. The Sunkist Premium Sweet line was launched with eight items which included an exclusive Valencia orange, as well as red grapefruit, peaches, pineapple, mandarin oranges, citrus salad, tropical fruit and mixed fruit.
