TAMPA, Fla., April 23, 2002-Recognizing the power of strong consumer brands, Vitality Foodservice has announced it will market the first dispensed, bag-in-box juice product line in the industry to carry the Sunkist® brand name. Sunkist®, one of the most recognized brand names in the world, is advertised in more than 40 countries worldwide.
Consumer research indicates that the superior quality of national brands is a compelling reason for consumers to return to or choose a foodservice establishment. And, foodservice operators are racing to meet that consumer demand: 7 out of 10 operators serve national brands like Sunkist®. Available exclusively from Vitality Foodservice distributors, the Sunkist® 3-gallon bag-in-box products will offer operators a broad range of juices and juice-based beverages that appeal to consumers across all day parts. With formulas specifically developed for and approved by Sunkist, the product line-up includes 19 different varieties with up to 100% juice, all of which are Berry Amendment compliant.
Bag-in-box products are ambient and therefore require no refrigerated storage, making them a popular choice for foodservice operators serving the military, schools, healthcare, and a full range of hospitality segments. The Sunkist® product line is supported with Vitality's operator preferred dispensers and global sales and service network.
Sunkist® bag-in-box products will be available nationwide beginning May, 2002. For more information, please contact a Vitality Foodservice sales representative or call toll-free 888-863-6726.
