This really is the Best Ever Caesar Salad! Easy to make all in one bowl. The combination of garlic, fresh lemon, olive oil and Worcestershire sauce are delicious.


  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 medium heads romaine lettuce, torn into bite size pieces, chilled
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • Fresh ground pepper, to taste
  • 1 egg, coddled 1 minute* (optional)
  • 2 Sunkist® lemons, juiced
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 anchovy filets, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 cup croutons
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    * To coddle egg: Cook egg one minute in gently boiling water.

Instructions: (Makes 6 servings)

  • Add garlic to oil, let stand serveral hours if time permits. In large salad bowl, toss romaine with garlic oil, salt and pepper. Break egg into middle of salad. Squeeze or pour lemon juice over romaine. Add Worcestershire sauce and anchovies, toss well. Add croutons and cheese, toss lightly.
