This recipe is a "delight"! Citrus 'N' Banana Compote Delight is absolutely delicious. Oranges, lemon, banana and grapes are a great tasting combination, the addition of cinnamon and clove makes it even better.

Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup water
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 Sunkist® lemon, juiced (3 Tbsp.)
  • 12 whole cloves
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • ½ Sunkist® lemon, unpeeled, cut in half cartwheel slices
  • 4 bananas, peeled cut in half crosswise
  • 2 Sunkist® oranges, peeled, separated into segments
  • 1 cup Sunkist® grapes

Instructions: (Makes 6 servings)

  • In large saucepan combine water, sugar, lemon juice, cloves and cinnamon, simmer 15 minutes. Add lemon slices, simmer 2 minutes longer. Gently stir in bananas, oranges and grapes, heat. Serve warm or chilled.
