Combining the best of Sunkist, Four-Star Citrus Ambrosia uses oranges, grapefruit, tangerines, and lemons. Serve in shallow champagne glasses for an extra special touch.


  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 Sunkist® lemon, grated peel
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed Sunkist® lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 Sunkist® oranges, peeled and cut into half-cartwheel slices
  • 1 Sunkist® grapefruit, peeled and sectioned
  • 2 Sunkist® tangerines, peeled, segmented, and seeded
  • toasted shredded or flaked coconut
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions: (Makes 4 servings)

  • To make the sauce, in a saucepan, beat the eggs well. Stir in the sugar, lemon peel, lemon juice, and butter.
  • Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 10 minutes.
  • Cover and chill.
  • Meanwhile, divide fruit into 4 individual dessert dishes and chill.
  • Spoon the sauce over the fruit, sprinkle with coconut, and garnish with fresh mint.
