Ingredients:

6 Sunkist® tangerines
2 large green apples, peeled, cored, thinly sliced (2 cups)
1 ¼ cups sugar
3 Tbsp. minute tapioca
1/8 tsp. salt
¼ cup Sunkist® fresh squeezed tangerine juice
2 Tbsp. Sunkist® fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 ¼ cups biscuit mix
½ cup milk
Preparation: Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Instructions: (Makes 6 servings)

Grate 2 tsp. peel from tangerines, set aside. Peel, seection and seed tangerines to yield 3 cups. In a large bowl combine tangerine sections with apple slices.

In small bowl mix together thoroughly 1 cup sugar, tapioca and salt, blend in tangerine and lemon juice until smooth. Add grated peel, pour over fruit mixture tossing lightly, let stand 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, combine biscuit mix and remaining sugar. Add milk stirring to form soft dough, turn onto well floured board, knead 8 to 10 times. Roll out very thin (1/8 inch) into a 11 x 17 inch rectangle. Cut dough crosswise into 8 strips about 1 1/4 inches wide.

Pour filling into 8 inch square baking pan. Top with strips of dough interwoven to form lattice design. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.
