Chicken breasts are coated in a yogurt mixture then browned. Orange Herbed Chicken Breasts are then simmered in a scrumptious sauce made with orange, tarragon, garlic, parsley and onion.


  • 4 half chicken breasts, skinned (about 2 lbs.)
  • 1/3 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp. low sodium mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1/2 Sunkist® orange, zested
  • 1 Sunkist® orange, juiced
  • 1/2 tsp. dried tarragon leaves, crushed
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 Sunkist® oranges, peeled, cut in half cartwheel slices
  • Chopped fresh parsley

Instructions: (Makes 4 servings)

  • In a shallow dish combine yogurt and mayonnaise. Dip chicken in yogurt mixture, coat with flour. In large skillet lightly brown chicken on all sides in oil. Add onion, orange juice and zest, tarragon, and garlic powder. Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and cover, continue cooking over low heat 30 minutes until chicken is cooked through and tender. Add orange half cartwheel slices, heat. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve.
