Chicken skewers are marinated and basted with orange, green onion, cilantro and honey. Orange ‘N’ honey Grilled Chicken Strip Skewers is a delicious and easy meal your family and friends will enjoy.

Ingredients:

4 to 6 boneless, skinless half chicken breasts ( 1 to 1 1/2 lbs.)
2 Tbsp. margarine, softened
½ Sunkist® orange, zested
2 Tbsp. Sunkist® fresh squeezed orange juice
2 Tbsp. finely chopped green onion
2 Tbsp. chopped cilantro leaves
1 Tbsp. honey
4 to 6 metal or wooden skewers

Instructions: (Makes 4 servings)

Cut each half chicken breast into 3 lenghtwise strips. Thread 3 strips accordian fashion on each 4 to 6 inch long metal or wooden skewer.

In a small bowl stir together margarine, zest, juice, green onion, cilantro and honey. Brush about half of basting sauce on all sides of chicken, let stand about 15 minutes.

Barbecue on grill 4 to 6 inches above glowing coals, or on medium heat of gas barbecue for about 15 minutes, until chicken is cooked through but still moist, turning and brushing as needed with remaining basting sauce.
