Taking the place of heavy cream, Greek style nonfat yogurt makes Sunkist Fresh Grapefruit Panna Cotta irresistible as well as a low fat dessert!


  • 1 packet unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed Sunkist® grapefruit juice
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cups Greek style nonfat plain yogurt
  • 1 tsp. freshly grated Sunkist® grapefruit peel
  • 3 Sunkist® grapefruits, peeled, segmented and seeded
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar

Instructions: (Makes 6 servings)

  • Sprinkle gelatin over grapefruit juice in small bowl, stir. Let stand for 5 minutes until softened.
  • Microwave milk and sugar in medium microwave safe bowl for one minute, stirring once until sugar is dissolved. Add gelatin mixture, yogurt and grapefruit peel, stir until smooth.
  • Pour into six, 6oz custard cups. Refrigerate until firm, about 4 hours or overnight.
  • Combine grapefruit segments and sugar, cover and chill.

  • To Serve: Place each custard cup in 1-inch hot water for 30 to 45 seconds to loosen. immediately invert onto individual dessert dishes and top with chilled grapefruit segments.
