
Lemonade Syrup Base
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- Grated peel from 1 Sunkist® lemon
- 1-1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
Makes 2-2/3 cups base.
Add sugar to boiling water; stir to dissolve the sugar. Simmer 5 minutes. Cool. Add the lemon peel and lemon juice. Store in a covered container in the refrigerator.
Lemonade by the glass:
- 1/4 to 1/3 cup Lemonade Syrup Base
- 3/4 cup cold water
- ice cubes
- thin cartwheel slices of Sunkist lemon for garnish
Makes 1 8-oz. serving.
In a large glass, combine all the ingredients and stir well.

- 5 cups cold water
- ice cubes
- thin cartwheel slices of Sunkist lemon for garnish
Makes 8 8-oz. servings.
