Mariner's Fruit Salad
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
- Grated peel and juice of 1/2 Sunkist® lemon
- 2 cans (about 7 ounces each) tuna, drained and chunked
- 2 Sunkist oranges, peeled, cut into bite-sized pieces, and drained
- 1 unpeeled red apple, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup grapes, cut in half and seeded
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- Salt to taste (optional)
- Salad greens
- Paprika
- Lemon wedges
Makes 6 servings (about 5 cups).
In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, lemon peel and juice. Stir in the tuna, orange pieces, apple, grapes, and walnuts; season with salt. Cover and chill. To serve, spoon tuna mixture onto salad greens; sprinkle with paprika and garnish with lemon wedges.
