Savory Corn on the Cob
- 4 to 8 fresh ears of corn, husks and silk removed
- Boiling water
- SunkistŪ lemon wedges
- Butter or margarine, softened
- Seasoned salt (optional)
Makes 4 to 8 servings.
In a large saucepot, cook the corn in rapidly boiling water for 4 to 8 minutes, or until tender; drain. To serve, rub corn with lemon wedges. Spread with butter and sprinkle with seasoned salt.
MICROWAVE-HIGH POWER SETTING (Serve as above. Makes 2 to 4 servings.)
Omit water. Individually wrap 2 to 4 ears of corn in wax paper. Cook just until tender (approximately 3 to 5 minutes for 2 ears, or 7 to 8 minutes for 4 ears). Let stand for 2 to 4 minutes.
