Read in their own (absolutely unedited) words how and why kids just like you took a stand for local charities and causes last summer. All of us at Sunkist congratulate them for their big hearts and hard work.

"We live in the south end (others call us POOR part of town) well we named our Baseball team the outsiders because of it, We had a candle sail started by my mom and it was the best sail ever now we would like to try this so we can buy better equipment and uniforms and not look so POOR. We can't even get the local carpet companies to help anymore. We are very much looking forward to this one . My mom and dad have been looking for an aluminum squeezer so my youger brother and I can do this and they were gonna build us a moveable cart so we could do this funny how we came across this ad. Thank you for being; Thinking of the little people, who can and will make the difference in the future."

"My sister Emily and I along with our best friend Adam Moskalick had a lemonade stand and bake sale (we made peanut butter cookies, blueberry muffins and lemond poppy seed muffins) in June 2004. We raised $255.00 for Alex's Lemonade Stands! Our local newspaper was out here and took our pictures along with a front page "Local Section" article on the stand! We usually use the money we make on our yearly lemonade stand to buy ice cream from the ice cream man, but this year we felt this was more important than our ice cream."

"My name is Eric Miller and on June 12th I held a lemonade stand in my neighborhood with my two friends, Kira and Jace. We earned $100.00 and sent it and recently I raised an additional $31.00. My aunt told me today that she is going to set a stand up for me outside of her business. I'm so excited I love doing this! I'm 5 and I had Retinoblastoma (eye tumor) and had to have my eye removed last 7/30. This year I am completely cured and want to help other children with childhood cancers."
