Sunkist Awards Outstanding Students with Bodine Scholarships
Oct. 9, 2013, Sherman Oaks, CA…Sunkist Growers is awarding 16 promising students in the cooperative’s growing areas of California and Arizona with scholarships to assist them with their academic pursuits.
The annual Bodine-Sunkist Scholarship, established in 1985 in memory of Sunkist board vice chairman Arthur W. Bodine, honors exceptional students from agricultural backgrounds.
“We are pleased to announce this year’s Bodine-Sunkist scholarship recipients,” said Sunkist President & CEO Russell Hanlin. “These students show tremendous promise, and we’re honored to support them in fulfilling their academic goals.”
The following students have been awarded Bodine-Sunkist scholarships for the 2013/14 academic year:
