Course/Meal - Beverage Type of Citrus - Lemons

Serves:

Sunkist® Lemon-Melonade

  • 1 ¾ cups sugar
  • 8 cups water
  • 1 ½ cups fresh-squeezed Sunkist lemon juice
  • 4 cups diced melon, any variety

To make one portion:
  • In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup water. Bring to boil and stir until sugar has dissolved into a syrup. Allow to cool to room temperature.
  • In a blender, add the 4 cups of melon and 1 cup water and blend on high speed until smooth.
  • In pitcher, stir together sugar syrup, pureed melon, lemon juice and remaining 6 cups water.
