Citrus Placecards
Even little kids can get in on the fun.
Materials
- SunkistŪ lemons
- Scissors
- Ruler
- White paper/heavy card stock
- Pens in assorted colors to match your table settings
- Stamp pads in assorted colors to match your table settings
Using the white paper/heavy card stock, cut cards that are approximately 4 1/2 inches by 5 inches in length. Protect work area by covering with paper. Cut Sunkist lemons in half crosswise. Use one lemon half for each color used. Pat lemon halves on paper towels to blot juice from surface and to dry lemon slightly. Press cut lemon onto stamp pad, then press onto your pre-cut cards. It is important not to use extra dark stamp ink, because you will want to write your guests name over the stamp once it has dried. You can press one lemon slice in the center, or fit a few stamps at different angles on each card. Allow all stamped cards to dry. When dry, fold cards in half so that they stand up on their own. Select a pen color that matches your table setting and write each guests name on the front of each place card. Not only will your guests know where they should sit, they'll admire your creativity and extra attention to detail!
