Sunkist Growers Elect 2007 Board

February 21, 2007, Visalia, California…..Nicholas L. Bozick of Mecca, California was re-elected to a second term as Chairman of the Board of Sunkist Growers following the 6,000 member citrus cooperative's 113th annual meeting in Visalia, California on February 21. Bozick is President of Richard Bagdasarian, Inc., a family run multi-commodity produce, growing packing and shipping business in the Coachella Valley. In addition to citrus, the company also handles table grapes and vegetables. He has served on the board of directors of both Sunkist and Fruit Growers Supply Company, a manufacturing and supply cooperative affiliate of Sunkist. Bozick is a former chairman of the California Grape and Tree Fruit League, having served on that organization's executive committee for seven years and on the board for more than 15 years.

Re-elected Vice Chairmen for 2007 are Craig Armstrong of Palm Desert, California; Mark D. Gillette of Dinuba, California, and John M. Grether of Somis, California.

Gillette is managing partner of Gillette Citrus Company and a board member of the Central California Citrus Exchange. A fourth-generation citrus grower in Tulare County, Gillette was first elected to the Sunkist board in 1999. He has served on the board of directors for Sunkist's manufacturing and supply affiliate Fruit Growers Supply Company since 1991.

Grether, who was elected to the Sunkist Board in 2003, is Vice Chairman of the Board of Saticoy Fruit Exchange where he has served as a board member for 21 years. He is co-owner of Grether Farming Company, a second-generation citrus grower and third-generation farmer in the Somis area of Ventura County.

Armstrong was elected to the Sunkist board of directors last year from the Southern California Citrus Exchange. A third generation citrus grower and packer in the California desert area. Armstrong is general manager of Coachella Valley Citrus and Dunlap Farm Management Company in Thermal, California where he has worked for the past 10 years.
