Room temperature citrus will yield more juice than those that are chilled. Chicken Breasts with Tangerines and Thyme uses tangerines which are a great tasty alternative to oranges. Why not give this tangerine chicken recipe a try? It makes for a delectable main dish.

  • 2 Tbsp. triple sec or other orange-flavored liqueur
  • 2/3 cup reduced sodium (1/3 less) chicken broth

  • Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring until mixture starts to thicken.
  • Return chicken and stir in tangerine segments and green onion.
  • Heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Garnish with fresh thyme leaves, if desired.
