  • 3 Sunkist® mandarins*, juice and zest
  • 1 Tbsp. five spice powder
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2-3 lbs. pork tenderloin (2 1-1.5 lb. pieces)
  • 3 mandarins*, halved
  • 4 Tbsp. hoisin sauce
  • 4 Tbsp. honey
  • 1/2 tsp. Chinese chili sauce, or to taste

    *Use Sunkist® tangerines, mandarins or tangelos.

Instructions: (Makes 4 servings)

  • Coat large shallow roasting dish with cooking spray and preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In large bowl, combine mandarin zest and juice, five spice powder, soy sauce and garlic. Place tenderloins in bowl and coat well with sauce.
  • Combine hoisin sauce, honey and chili sauce in small bowl and set aside.
  • Place coated tenderloins in roasting dish with mandarin halves. Roast for 10 minutes.
  • With brush or spoon, coat tenderloins with hoisin-honey sauce and roast for an additional 20-30 minutes, basting pork and mandarins with pan juices. Pork is cooked when meat thermometer reads 160-165°F.
  • Remove pork from oven, let rest at least 5 minutes before slicing on the diagonal to serve with mandarin halves and pan sauce.
