For an impressive presentation try igniting the Grand Marnier table side, your guests will surely be awestruck. Sunkist Moro Orange Crêpes Suzette is delicious as well as attractive getting their vibrrant color from the Moro orange.


  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups fresh-squeezed Sunkist® moro orange juice
  • 4 Sunkist® moro oranges, peeled, pitted and segmented
  • 12 prepared crêpes
  • 5 Tbsp. Grand Marnier (optional)
  • 4 Tbsp. Sunkist® moro orange zest

Instructions: (Makes 4 servings)

  • Melt butter with sugar in a large sauté pan. Add the moro orange juice and reduce by 1/4 over high heat.
  • Reduce the heat to medium and lay one crepe in the pan, fold it in half then fold in half again to form a triangle. Move it off to the side of the pan repeating the process with each crepe. Cook the crepes spooning the liquid over them for one minute. Remove the crepes to a serving plate.
  • Add the segments from the moro oranges, about 8-10 segments per serving. Cook until heated through, add the Grand Marnier and carefully ignite the alcohol cooking until the flame goes out (optional). Spoon the segments over the crepes.
  • Reduce the remaining liquid until it forms a light syrup and coats the back of a spoon, pour over the crepes and garnish with the moro orange zest and serve.
