Orange Chicken Glaze ingredients

  • 0.5 cup Sunkist® Navel orange juice
  • 0.5 cup Sunkist® Blood orange juice
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sunkist® Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Sunkist® Navel orange zest
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

Chicken ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts, cubed
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch and
  • 2 teaspoons cold water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine all glaze ingredients and bring mixture to a simmer until reduced. If desired, thicken the sauce further by adding in cornstarch and water mixture.

  3. Pat chicken dry with paper towels. Cut into 2-inch pieces.
  4. Transfer chicken to a large bowl and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
  5. Sprinkle flour over top, and then toss to coat.
  6. Heat a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat. When hot, add 2 tablespoons of oil, then chicken. (Don't overcrowd the pan; cook chicken in two batches if needed.)
  7. Cook until golden-brown, and cooked through; discard any excess oil.
  8. Pour the orange glaze over the chicken and toss until fully coated.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
