  • 1 bag store bought sugar cookie mix
  • 1 egg
  • .5 cup butter
  • 1 Sunkist® Blood Orange, zested and juiced
  • 1 Sunkist® Lemon, zested and juice
  • 1 Naturipe® Strawberry, muddled
  • .5 cup freeze-dried strawberries
  • Food coloring

Directions

  1. Prepare cookie dough by mixing cookie mix with egg and butter until incorporated. Divide cookie dough into thirds. Set two-thirds aside and place one-third back into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add Blood Orange zest and 1 tablespoon of Blood Orange juice to the mixing bowl and mix to combine.
  3. Add red and orange food coloring until desired color and mix. Wrap cookie dough in plastic wrap and place in the fridge.
  4. Wipe out the mixing bowl and add one-third of cookie dough. Add lemon zest and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to cookie dough and mix to combine. Wrap in plastic wrap and place in the fridge.
  5. Into a food processor, add freeze-dried strawberries and process until powder.
  6. Wipe out the mixing bowl and add remaining cookie dough. Add muddled strawberries, freeze dried strawberries and mix to combine. Wrap in plastic wrap and place in the fridge.
  7. Preheat oven to 375F.
  8. Remove the dough from the fridge and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  9. Take 1/2 tablespoon of each dough and press it together to form a ball. Repeat until you have 9 balls. Place cookie dough balls on a baking sheet about 1” apart and bake for 13 minutes or until just baked.
