Fritters ingredients

  • 2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and coarsely shredded on a box grater
  • 2 medium shallots, thinly sliced
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 Sunkist® lemon, squeezed
  • 1 tsp Greek spices
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil, for frying

Sunkist® Lemon Yogurt Sauce ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp fresh Sunkist® lemon juice or 1 Sunkist® lemon, squeezed
  • 1 tsp Sunkist® lemon zest
  • 1 garlic clove, pressed
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Sea salt
  • 2 tsp freshly chopped dill


  1. In a bowl, whisk together the yogurt, Sunkist® lemon juice, Sunkist® lemon zest, garlic, cumin, salt and dill in a small bowl and aside.
  2. Grate the Yukon Gold potatoes and place them in a cloth. Squeeze out the liquid.
  3. Add shallots, eggs flour, lemon, spices, salt and pepper.
  4. Combine and form small patties and place in an oiled pan. Flip when golden.
  5. Add some zest as well as an extra squeeze of lemon for a final touch. Then, you’re ready to serve!
