Fresh Grapefruit Paloma ingredients

  • .5 cup fresh SunkistĀ® Star Ruby grapefruit juice
  • .5 cup sparkling water
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice, plus slices for garnish
  • .25 cup silver tequila (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons honey simple syrup (optional)
  • Coarse sea salt, for the rim of the glasses
  • Ice

Honey Simple Syrup ingredients

  • .25 cup filtered water
  • .25 cup honey

Fresh Grapefruit Paloma

Directions
  1. Salt the rim of the glass by rubbing a grapefruit wedge around the edge and dipping it onto a small plate of salt.
  2. Fill a glass halfway full with ice.
  3. Add the grapefruit juice, sparkling water, lime juice, tequila (optional), and honey simple syrup (recipe below).
  4. Stir vigorously. Garnish with sliced lime.

Honey Simple Syrup

Directions
  1. Combine water and honey in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bring to a simmer and stir until honey dissolves.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool.
  4. Keep in the refrigerator for up to a month.
