Winter White Sangria
Chablis is a perfect winter white wine with its crisp, green apple acidity which helps cut through the rich, heavy foods of winter. Stir up a wintertime sangria with in-season citrus.
- To 1 bottle of Chablis, add the strained juice of 1 Navel orange and 1 Meyer lemon and the brandy.
- Slice the remaining fruit pole to pole and cut into half-moons, approximately ⅜ inch wide.
- Sprinkle the sugar over the cut fruit and let sit for 10 minutes. Then add all cut fruit to the wine-juice mix and let sit overnight.
- Just before serving, add soda water and stir lightly.
